Analysis of Ukrainian porous concrete market

In 2008 specialists of ITТ-consult team conducted detailed analysis of Ukrainian porous concrete market. The research structure includes the following components.

- Research of Ukrainian building sector condition. Diversification of the structure of building trade across the regions of Ukraine. Definition of values of market indexes: demand and supply for building materials, their correspondence to the needs of national economy generally in the country and in the regions.

- Analysis of modern tendencies of the market of construction materials, especially study of modern technologies of wall building. Analysis of varieties, assortment, price level and market intension with wall building materials.

- Comparative analysis by characteristics and production cost of construction materials: bricks and types of foamed concrete (porous concrete, cellular polystyrene concrete and foamed concrete).

- Peculiarities, strategies, manufacturing capacities and results of Ukrainian market leaders’ activity were elaborated in details. Based on the information about investment projects in the branch the plans of main market participants were defined. Special attention was paid to estimation of peculiarities and possibility of implementation of innovative, effective, saving and ecologically save technologies and technological lines into production process.

- Prediction of production and consumption levels (using in building industry) of foamed concrete across the regions of Ukraine up to year 2010.

- Research of business environment blocks in the region, where the enterprise, which is ITT-consult’s client, is located: positive and negative factors of development, forecast of volume of investments into enterprises of the branch.

- Problems and perspectives ofdevelopment of porous concrete manufacturers’ business in Ukraine were clearly defined and represented.

- Special attention was paid to development of strategy of reaching the leading position on the market offoamed concretein the region.

Careful study of the building sector, rates and volume of production of construction materials, as well as modern construction industry tendencies allowed to define the production of which materials is the most beneficial and profitable, and which regions are the most favorable for establishment of this sector.
